Dear Guests,

welcome to Dapur Indonesia – we serve traditional Indonesian food since 2011, and updated the menu to completely plant-based in 2018, after becoming vegan ourselves. At first we thought it was not possible to cook flavourful food without animal products. Today we know it is actually an enrichment – the world of plants is incredibly vast and has much more to offer than we would have ever imagined.

Dapur will be closed on following dates:
– Lunch on August 1st (evening open)
– From August 6th to August 17th

OPENING TIMES
Lunch (lunch menu): Wednesday and Thursday 11.30am – 2.00pm (kitchen til 1.30pm)
Dinner: Tuesday to Saturday 5.30pm – 10.30pm (kitchen til 9.oopm).

OUR KITCHEN IS PLANTBASED

A plantbased diet implies a full preparation of food and dishes only by using products of plants: no dairy, no meat, no fish. Non of our dishes include animal based components like butter, eggs or milk. Nature provides so many essential nutrients and alternatives – so we can actually waive all animal products and still have a very balanced diet. We are convinced that the vegan cuisine is not only tasty but also very meaning- and mindful.

At Dapur we want to show you how vegan Indonesian cuisine can be authentic, rich and absolutely delicious!

Indonesian cuisine is infused with a vast variety of spices – at Dapur these spices are the base for our tasty and authentic menu. We offer various dishes that are iconic to the Indonesian culture. Some of them are traditionally plantbased and others we carefully adapted to offer you an equivalent outstanding vegan meal.

At Dapur we offer 36 seats, on summer days plus 26 seats outdoors in our backyard garden. On request we offer the possibility to rent the restaurant for your private function.

You can reach our restaurant easily by public transport. We are perfectly located only 3 walking minutes away from the train station Oerlikon and close to the tram station (14, 11 and 10). If you wish to visit us by car we suggest to use the car park garage accross the road which is operated 24h.
